time to catch up....

over the next few weeks we will be set different workshops in various subjects such as, 3D, Fashion, Graphics as well as a few more. the design briefs will all have one thing in common, they will all have to be based on the human form..taking the different subjects anyway we wish... the image below shows a part of my graphics pop-up human rib cage i designed and made. i hand drew and painted all the details of the ribcage and the organs to go into it, attaching with velcro to create a scientific diagram of the human body wich would also help children learn, allowing them to stick the organs in the areas they think they go.

Why Blog?

as you can see this is a ongoing project over my last year of college and i feel it is important to present my work in a professional manner. It not only helps me keep track of my own work, but also helping others understand my work. i feel it doesn't matter where you are in your career.. a student or professional blogging your progress can really benifit everyone. i would like to think my creative journey will eventually take me exactly were i wish.i am really interested in the fashion textile and photography side of art and design. As i like to feel hands on with what i am doing and the thrill of having a final piece infront of me is the best!

Research..

What is a blog?...Who writes them?... What purpose do they serve?....
A blog is a personal diary. A daily input, a collaborative space,
your own private thoughts, memos to the world, or a way to track an on going project....
Your blog is whatever you want it to be.
In simple terms, a blog is a website, where you write stuff on an ongoing basis.
New stuff shows up at the top, so your visitors can read what's new.
Then they comment on it or link to it or email you. Or not.
Since Blogger was launched in 1999, blogs have reshaped the web,
shaken up journalism, and enabled millions of people to have a
voice and connect with others.
Welcome to mine.....
